MORE ON SALT

DID YOU know that Navy doctors during World War II used sea salt for blood transfusions when they didn't have any more blood supplies? By doing this they were able to save many lives. During the Middle Ages there was a natural global warming which caused the villages and Salt Farms along the Atlantic Ocean and Mediterranian Sea to be flooded out. Records from history tell us that the coast became deserted and because of the lack of salt in the human diet, this may have been responsible for the regressive times that we know as the Dark Ages, which lasted 500 years.

SALT TRIVIA: The families that have lived within 200 miles of the sea for generations have an average IQ higher than the average IQ of families who for generations lived further away from the sea.

TIP: Use Sea Salt when canning, NOT table salt. You'll be healthier and live longer because of the mineral content that hasn't been removed.
